On this tour be ready to explore new wineries,Beer and Cheese makers! started the day off at Alexander Brewery in Emek Hefer, which is making very good beer! the facility is state of the art and the brew master from Denmark to make the best possible Israeli beer. He makes a Blond, Amber and Black beer. I look forward to bringing groups to Alexander Brewery!
second stop is Recanati Winery, since they are in the same industrial area. Recanati’s is one of the leading wineries in Israel with its premium wines and expert winemaker, Gil Shatzberg. Their grapes come from excellent vineyards from all around the country. They have a nice selection of wines to taste.
third stop is Jacob’s Dairy, a family owned dairy since 1996. you will see the cows, aging rooms and of course the cheese shop which includes a bakery. Jacob’s Dairy has over 25 types of cheeses and is one of the leading dairies in Israel.
next visit was Morad Winery, a winery established by husband and wife who have been making wine from fruit, herbs and chocolate for decades. I tasted orange wine, apple wine, chocolate wine, carob wine, cinnamon wine, almond wine, pomegranate wine, pasaflora wine and many more. This is a great stop for something different!
up to Zichron Yaakov, Stop at Carmel and Somek Winery which is always a nice visit. next stop at a new Brewery in the old section of Zichron called Pavo. Pavo Brewery overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and the Carmel Mountains. They have 5 selections of beer and a restaurant attached that serves kosher sausages, nachos, fried and lots of beer food!
3 Day Private Wine and Culinary Tour
DAY 01 – Carmel Region
9:00am – Pick up at Hotel in TA
10:0am – Visit Alexander Brewery with owner, Ori, who after retiring as an Israeli pilot, made
his passion of making beer, his second career. Taste their Blond, Amber and Black beer and
learn about the beer making process.
11:30am – Enjoy a stroll around Ramat HaNadiv, Rothschild’s Botanical Gardens.
12:30am – Visit Tishbi Estate Winery, the 5th largest winery and first family owned winery in
Israel. Enjoy lunch with a tasting of a variety of white, red, semi-sweet, dry and dessert wines
with home-made fresh bread, wine jams, and olive oil from the “Oshra Tishbi Fine Food”
products. Also enjoy a tasting of Chocolate and Wine in the newly opened Chocolate-Wine
Tasting room!
2:30pm – Travel up to Zichron Yaakov and enjoy an intimate tour with Barak, the owner and
winemaker of Somek Winery, a small bouquet winery of 10,000 bottles annually. Meet with
him in his backyard and see how every bottle of wines is created through old-fashion methods
and years of tradition.
3:00pm – Enjoy a stroll along the walking promenade of Zichron Yaakov, the community
where the First Aliyah settled.
4:00pm – Drive back to Tel Aviv, Dinner recommendation in Tel Aviv -Lililt restaurant

DAY 02 – Galilee Region
8:00am – Pick up at Hotel in Tel Aviv
10:30am – Visit the Sea of Galilee, the Kinneret, and walk along the boardwalk to get a
refreshing orange juice or café.
11:30am – In the morning, we will visit Hanoked dairy, a local boutique dairy, located in the
village of Gilon. The Israeli cheese scene has flourished in recent years and includes at present a
remarkable range of unique artisanal cheeses, produced by skilled cheese makers in small
boutique dairies around the country.
12:30am – Enjoy a tasting of organic goat cheese and the high-quality wine of Adir Winery,
from the vineyards of Kerem Ben Zimra, one of the most desirable vineyards in Israel.
1:30pm – Lunch at Ali Eli, Israeli Arab food
3:00pm – Visit Naaman Winery, where the winemaker, Rami Naaman, will give you tasting of
all of his excellent wines. Rami names his wines after another passion of his, music. Taste the
Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Deep Purple, and Black Velvet.
4:30pm – Tour the second largest winery in Israel, the Golan Heights Winery in Katzrin. The
Golan Heights winery provided some of the new-age wine making techniques in Israel and has
assisted in launching Israel into the International Wine World.
5:30pm – Drive back to Tel Aviv, Dinner in Tel Aviv

DAY 03 – Local Culinary tour with Inbal Baum, Founder of Delicious Israel
Don’t eat too much for breakfast since you want to be hungry as you go through the culinary
delights of Tel Aviv.
Start the day in the Jaffa Port learning about the history of the first Israeli food brands, the Jaffa
Orange. Continue to the best Hummas in Jaffa and learn about the culture of hummus in Israel.
Learn about Israeli diverse café culture at the Tachana (restored railway station) in Jaffa and then
continue onto Shuk HaCarmalit where you will taste spices, fresh fruits and vegetables, olive,
olive oil and pastries. End the day at the Yeminite Quarter where you will experience the real
authentic food of the Yeminite Jewish people at a home.
If you would like to experience a wine bar/restaurant, Inbal will take you to one of her favorites.
Wine is not included in the price of the culinary tour.
