Jerusalem
Sightseeing of the new city
Start the day with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from the top of Mt. of Olives. Proceed to the Garden of Gethsemane and Church of the Agony. Drive to Israel Museum’s Shrine of the Book that houses the famous Dead Sea scrolls, View the beautifully renovated model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem, dating back to the time of the Second Temple. Continue to Yad Vashem (the memorial to the six million Jews and others who were murdered in the Holocaust. This afternoon visit the picturesque village of Ein Karem , the birth place of John the Baptist. Return to hotel.

Jerusalem - Old City
Bethlehem
Walk through one of the gates to the walled Old City. Visit the renewed Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall, the Temple area, the colorful bazaars. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and the Stations of the Cross ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Drive to Mt. Zion and visit the Tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. This afternoon continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and enjoy a view of the Shepherds Fields.

Beit Shean - Nazareth
Galilee
Leave Jerusalem, and drive north via Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Continue through the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean. Visit the excavations of this beautiful Roman city. Proceed to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation and Mary’s Well. On to Safed, city of the Kabala, for a walk through the mystic alleys and the artists’ colony.

Golan Heights / Tour around the Sea of Galilee
Drive to the Golan Heights. See the former Syrian fortifications, and the Druze villages. Continue via the Banias springs, a source of the Jordan River , to the shores of the Sea of Galilee and Capernaum. Visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue and Peter's House. Visit Tabgha where the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes took place. Visit the Mt of Beatitudes. After a short tour of Tiberias an old center of Jewish learning continue to the hotel.

Acre - Haifa - Tel Aviv
After breakfast drive west to Acre for a visit of the old, Crusader stronghold and medieval fortifications. Continue to Haifa and enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city, including the Bahai Shrine and Gardens. Ascend Mount Carmel for a panoramic view of the city and the bay. Proceed south to Caesarea to visit the Roman Theater and the Crusader fortress. Continue to Tel Aviv-Jaffa for a short city tour.

Caesarea / Megiddo / Haifa / Acre
Depart Tel Aviv and drive along the coastal plain to Caesarea, capital of Judea under the Romans. Visit the excavations of the ancient city, the Roman Theater and Aqueduct. Continue to Megiddo, recognized as the site of Armageddon. View the archaeological excavations including the well-preserved water supply system. Drive to Haifa and view the Persian Gardens at the Bahai Shrine before continuing to Acre to visit the ancient City and Harbor. Continue to Kibbutz Lavi.

Tiberias / Capernaum / Banias
After a short tour of Tiberias, take a boat ride to Capernaum. Visit the remains of the 2nd century synagogue. Proceed to Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of Loaves and Fish and visit the Church of the Multiplication with its 4thcentury mosaic floor. Continue to the Mount of Beatitudes, the place where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Drive to the Banias Springs and waterfalls and tour the Golan Heights. Return to Kibbutz.

Nazareth / Beit Shean
Drive to Nazareth via Cana of Galilee. Visit the Church of the Annunciation, St. Joseph’s Workshop and Mary’s Well. Drive to Yardenit, the place where the Jordan river exits the Sea of Galilee, and Baptism place. Continue to Beit Shean, a newly excavated city, and visit the Roman Theater. Drive along the Jordan River to Jerusalem.

Old City
Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the City. Visit the Church of All Nations, King David’s Tomb and the Room of Last Supper on Mt. Zion. Enter the walls of the Old City and visit the Herodian Cardo, Temple Mount (entrance to the mosques not included), Western Wall, Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Oriental Bazaar. Visit the Garden Tomb.

Jerusalem – New City and Bethlehem
Drive to Ein Karem to visit the Church of Visitation, proceed to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the holocaust. Visit the Israel museum, the shrine of the book, where the dead sea scrolls are housed and the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the second temple period. Proceed to Bethlehem * to visit the Church of Nativity.

Dead Sea / Massada
Drive to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Visit the ancient city of Qumran. Continue to Massada, the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D. Ascend Massada by cable car and visit the food storerooms, water irrigation system and Herod’s Palace. Stop at the dead sea for a float in these amazing waters Return to Jerusalem.

Leave Tel Aviv via Ashdod and Ashkelon to Beersheba. Enjoy a short visit to the Negev capital. Continue via Arad to Massada. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, Herod’s palaces, the synagogue, bathhouse, etc. Marvel at the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. Descend for a possible “float” in the in the salty waters of the Dead Sea, the lowest place in the world. Drive via Ein Gedi and Kalya to Jerusalem.

Petra
After breakfast leave Eilat and Israel, cross the Arava border into Jordan. Drive to Petra through the scenic Jordanian desert and the Wadi Rum area. Enter the Rose City of Petra through the Siq, .a narrow passage through the mountains that has amazed people for centuries. Continue up to the treasury which suddenly appears at the end of the gorge, leaving the visitors in awe of it's size, color and beauty. Proceed into the heart of this ancient city carved into the mountains, passing hundreds of tombs and monuments and a spectacular amphitheatre, which once held 3,000 spectators. Stop for a sit-down lunch, followed by a visit to Moses Spring before leaving Wadi Moussa - the new town of Petra. Drive to Aqaba for a short city tour, return to the Arava border and back to Eilat.
