Christian Clergy Familiarization Tour

Israel Travel Providers, llc is pleased to offer this Pastor Familiarization Tour as a unique opportunity for Pastors, Ministers and Christian community leaders to study in the land of Israel. For nearly 2000 years Christian pilgrims from all over the worlds have been journeying to the Land of Israel, the source of their spiritual heritage. Bible in hand, they’ve walked in the places where Jesus walked and prayed where He preached and prayed, and many experience a feeling of divine grace, or salvation, along with inner peace and a strengthened belief in their faith. There is no better place on earth than the Holy Land for Christians to feel the events of Jesus’ life coming alive before their eyes and in their hearts. Nowhere is His life better documented than in the Holy Bible and now, More than ever, the call to follow in Jesus’ Holy land footsteps is reverberating Around the Christian world. Pilgrims undertake journeys to holy places in order to pray for God’s help, to offer thanks, to seek atonement, fulfill a vow, renew and reinforce the roots of their faith and to experience the holy places – an act seen by many as the core value of a pilgrimage. Scholars in search of definitions have examined this activity, both currently and in the past, from a number of points of view. “A journey towards wholeness with God on a sacred path.”A trip to “certain holy places [that] possessed a definite spiritual value which affected those that visited them and could even grant indulgences from sin.” An opportunity that enables people “…to walk with their God and refresh their spirit.”

In order to participate in the FAMILIARIZATION TOUR, the pastor must present a copy of an ordination and be employed by a church or a Christian organization or ministry.
